A senior age man who was driving his motorcycle was killed after he was ran over by a speeding armor van on Thursday afternoon at Padre Burgos Avenue, Lagusnilad underpass in Ermita, Manila.

The victim — identified as Pedro Tenerife — died while undergoing treatment at the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center.

Investigations showed that the armored van driven by a certain Ericson Oliver accidentally sideswiped the motorcycle and its rider was ran over by the armored vehicle.

The driver is presently detained at the MPD-TEU detention will be charged for reckless imprudence resulting to homicide and damage to property at the Manila Prosecutors Office.
