Justice Sec. Boying Remulla on 7 November said double murder charges were filed against suspended Bureau of Corrections Chief Gen. Gerald Bantag, Supt. Ricardo Zulueta, and several others for the killing of broadcaster Percy Lapid and alleged middleman Jun Villamor.

Bantag and Zulueta were tagged as masterminds in the plot to kill Lapid, as well as Villamor.

Remulla and Interior Sec. Benhur Abalos urged Bantag and Zulueta to voluntarily surrender, since lookout orders have been issued against them.
