MMDA adopted park inaugurated
The local government of Las Piñas City and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority recently inaugurated the Gatchalian Park and Multi-Purpose Hall in Barangay Manuyo II under the agency's "adopt-a-park" project.

MMDA acting chairperson Carlo Dimayuga III joined Mayor Imelda Aguilar and Vice Mayor April Aguilar in the simple rite.
The lady mayor said the inauguration of the park is in line with MMDA's thrust to develop under-utilized parks by improving their usability, adding that the project provides safe and clean areas for family events and wellness activity which are both important to the physical and mental health of the public.
The project is a brainchild of former MMDA chairman Benhur Abalos, now Secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
