Korean pop singer Chen is back.
Born Kim Jong-dae, the former member of the South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo and its subgroup Exo-M has a new EP.
At midnight of 11 October, Exo's official social media sites announced Chen's comeback with his third EP, Last Scene, set for release on 31 October.
The announcement was accompanied by an art portrait of Chen's figure in an open field — which typically graced the cover art of his previous albums.
Last Scene marks Chen's return to the music scene following his marriage announcement in 2020 and his official discharge from mandatory military service on 25 April.
He debuted as a solo artist in 2019 with the EP April, and a Flower. He likewise sang in the soundtracks of Korean dramas, such as "Best Luck" (It's Okay, That's Love in 2014) and "Everytime" (Descendants of the Sun in 2016).
Chen, 30, is the first Exo member to get married on 13 January 2020. He has two children.
