Manila — Cosplay.ph and its iconic convention Cosplay Mania made a resounding return after two years of absence due to the pandemic, utilizing the whole upper area of the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

An Artists' Alley sold prints, stickers, photobooks and figurines, with prices depending on whether items on sale are sealed, without boxes or mint.

Four of the biggest names in figure collecting like Tamashii Nations, Good Smile, Banpresto and Bandai were represented, while food stalls kept attendees satiated and never hungry for chow.

A notable booth was that of anime streaming app Bili Bili, which unleashed its mascot around for those eager to have photos as cosplay fans and cosplayers themselves tried to preserve the moment.

Sorely lacking was a Tamiya booth and a race track that had been attractions in past cosplay events.
