Matthew Healy of The 1975 has denied the rumor of the band being featured in Taylor Swift's newest album.

After Swift shared a video on her Instagram account showing three physical copies of her upcoming limited-edition album with the tracklist intentionally blurred, a Photoshopped album cover with song titles and featured artists began circulating online.

Fans gushed over a "leaked" photo purportedly showing three songs and three featured artists, namely, "In My Dreams" with The 1975, "Good In The Dark" with Lana del Ray, and "Halle" with Stevie Nicks.

However, Healy quickly dismissed the rumors on 4 September with a blunt tweet: "I would love that! But unfortunately FAKE NEWS."

Swift has yet to announce the official tracklist for her album, or any collaboration with any artist, aside from her previous Instagram post of the album cover captioned "the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life."

The singer-songwriter is set to release her 10th studio album on 21 October.

Meanwhile, The 1975 will have its fifth studio album, Being Funny In A Foreign Language, out on 14 October. The pop band recently released two single tracks, "Happiness" and "I'm In Love With You."
