Sen. Bong Go had his team distribute aid to struggling residents in Pontevedra, Negros Occidental on Wednesday, 31 August.
In his video message during the activity held at the municipal gymnasium, Go reiterated that he will exert great efforts to continue former president Rodrigo Duterte's goal of providing Filipinos a more comfortable life.
Go's team handed out masks, shirts, and snacks to 296 residents and provided shoes, computer tablets, bicycles, and balls for volleyball and basketball to select individuals.
Meanwhile, the Department of Social Welfare and Development extended financial aid under its Sustainable Livelihood Program.
