Perps cagers eye crucial victories

Getting back on track will be the order of business when University of Perpetual Help System Dalta troops to the hardcourt for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 102 basketball tournament on Monday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

The Altas will seek to snap their six-game losing skid when they battle Arellano University in the men’s division at 5 p.m. while the Junior Altas will gun for recovery when they battle the Braves in the juniors division at 12 p.m.

After posting two wins in their first three games, the Altas struggled, losing six straight games to settle for an ugly 2-7 win-loss mark entering the final stretch of eliminations.

They will be facing a dangerous Arellano side that beat them in their previous meeting on 25 September, 88-65.
