Batasan Hills shooting claims 3

Police arrested a 38-year-old man Monday morning in connection with a fatal shooting that left three people dead, including a minor, in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) reported that the shooting occurred at around 2 a.m. along Senatorial Street at the corner of Batasan-San Mateo Road.

Following immediate pursuit operations, personnel from Batasan Police Station 6 apprehended the suspect, identified by authorities under the alias “Vin,” approximately one hour after the attack.

Investigating officers recovered a firearm at the scene believed to have been used in the shooting.

The suspect remains in police custody as investigators prepare murder charges for formal filing before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.

Police officials stated that the motive behind the shooting and the specific circumstances surrounding the incident remain under active investigation.
