Emirates to hold first pilot recruitment roadshow
'Emirates pilots fly one of the world’s youngest and most modern all wide-body fleets across a global network.'

Emirates will hold its first pilot recruitment roadshow in the Philippines later this month as the airline steps up hiring to meet rising customer demand.
In partnership with Industrial Personnel and Management Services Inc. (IPAMS), the Dubai-based airline will conduct the recruitment roadshow in Manila from 28 to 29 October, targeting experienced commercial pilots.
Sessions will be held at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on 28 October and at 10 a.m. on 29 October.
The recruitment drive is open to experienced pilots interested in positions as First Officers, Direct Entry Captains, or through Emirates’ Accelerated Command Programme.
Prospective applicants will be briefed on the airline’s Narrowbody to Widebody Direct Entry Captain Campaign, recruitment process, available positions, training programs, career opportunities and benefits. They will also have the opportunity to speak with Emirates pilots currently flying for the airline.
Emirates country manager for the Philippines Khalid Al Zarooni said the airline expects to welcome more Filipino pilots as it expands its global operations.
“Emirates pilots fly one of the world’s youngest and most modern all wide-body fleets across a global network,” Al Zarooni said. He added that pilots would undergo in-house training at Emirates’ facilities and be based in Dubai.
Emirates said its pilots fly across a network spanning six continents. The airline has taken delivery of 27 Airbus A350 aircraft, with another 47 on order, alongside 270 Boeing 777Xs.
The airline said its pilots and their families receive benefits including a tax-free salary, 42 days of annual leave with tickets for the pilot and immediate family, company-provided accommodation, a child education allowance, life, medical and dental insurance, and discounted travel benefits.
New recruits undergo evidence- and competency-based training at Emirates’ pilot training facilities in Dubai. This includes the newly opened Emirates Crew Training Centre, a $135-million facility with six full-flight simulator bays for its A350 and 777X aircraft.
Emirates has served the Philippines for 36 years and currently operates 32 weekly flights connecting Manila, Cebu and Clark with its Dubai hub.
The airline has also expanded its Travel Rehearsal program to Cebu and Clark, helping neurodiverse children and their families navigate the airport journey.
Interested pilots may register through Emirates’ pilot careers platform for eligibility requirements and recruitment information.
