Pasay’s Bay Area is strengthening its position as a destination for business gatherings, exhibitions and cultural events, with PNB Holdings Corp. promoting its event spaces at the PNB Financial Center as options for organizers seeking venues near major commercial and entertainment destinations.

The district has evolved into a busy Metro Manila hub where conventions, performances, tourism and retail activities converge. Landmarks such as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Cultural Center of the Philippines and Coconut Palace stand alongside hotels, exhibition halls and shopping destinations.

Brutalist architectural style

At the center of the area is the PNB Financial Center along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard. Designed by National Artist for Architecture Gabriel Formoso, the complex features geometric forms, spacious interiors and a Brutalist architectural style that gives events hosted there a distinctive setting.

Its largest venue, The Grand Atrium, can accommodate up to 1,500 guests for corporate functions, receptions, product launches and public gatherings. The Long Gallery and Escolta Hall offer additional spaces suited for exhibitions, trade fairs and cultural programs.

For outdoor activities, The Amphitheatre provides an open venue for bazaars, concerts and product launches.

The complex has also expanded its cultural role with the opening of the Department of Trade and Industry’s Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions Likhang Filipino Exhibition Halls in 2026. The facility provides a permanent venue for Filipino design, fashion, crafts, furniture, food and other creative industries.

The development reflects the growing overlap between commercial and cultural activities in the Bay Area, where business events can take place alongside exhibitions, hospitality and leisure offerings.

The district’s concentration of destinations allows visitors to combine professional engagements with dining, shopping and entertainment within the same area.

Flexible venues

For PNB Holdings, the event spaces offer organizers flexible venues in a location positioned to serve corporate gatherings, public exhibitions and cultural programming as Pasay continues to attract visitors for a wider range of activities.
