Discovery Boracay has secured a place in the MICHELIN Guide Hotels 2026, adding another milestone to the island resort’s nearly two decades of welcoming travelers to one of the country’s most famous beach destinations.

Situated on the quieter stretch of White Beach’s Station 1, the resort joins the guide’s list of hotels recognized for delivering exceptional stays through a combination of quality accommodations, attentive service and a strong sense of place.

Unlike the MICHELIN stars awarded to restaurants, the guide’s hotel selection looks at the overall guest experience. Properties are evaluated based on five universal criteria: architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, comfort, value for money, connection to the destination, and a distinctive personality that sets each property apart.

Those qualities have long shaped the experience at Discovery Boracay. The beachfront resort offers guests direct access to the island’s powdery white sand while providing a more peaceful retreat away from the busiest sections of White Beach. Visitors can spend the day by the shore, relax by the pool, enjoy sunset views or explore the island before returning to the resort’s quieter surroundings.

The property features 99 all-suite accommodations, each measuring at least 40 square meters. Designed with generous living spaces, several suites include separate lounges, balconies and outdoor Jacuzzis, creating an atmosphere suited for couples, families and groups seeking a more spacious island escape.

Hospitality remains at the center of the Discovery Boracay experience. The resort’s Guest Experience Makers, known as GEMs, are trained to deliver personalized service through thoughtful touches, whether welcoming returning guests, assisting families or helping mark special occasions.

Guests also have access to a range of amenities that extend beyond the beach, including multiple dining options, Terra Wellness Spa, watersports and family-friendly activities, allowing travelers to tailor their stay to their own pace.

The recognition comes as Discovery Boracay prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2027. Its inclusion in the MICHELIN Guide Hotels 2026 reflects years of building a reputation anchored on genuine Filipino hospitality and memorable guest experiences.

Rather than simply highlighting luxury accommodations, the distinction underscores what continues to draw visitors back to the resort: a stay shaped by heartfelt service, generous spaces and an experience that captures the spirit of Boracay.
