Malabon fire hits residential area
A fire broke out in a residential area along 3rd Street in Barangay Tañong, Malabon City on Friday night.
The fire reached the first alarm after it started at around 7:30 p.m. Residents quickly evacuated their belongings, including clothes and their pets.
The number of houses destroyed and families affected was still being determined.
The Bureau of Fire Protection was still conducting an investigation into the cause of the fire and the estimated value of the property damaged as of Saturday.
No injuries or deaths were reported in the incident. The fire was declared out at 10 p.m.
