Police arrested a man after he allegedly drew a firearm and pointed it at two individuals during a heated argument in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, on Sunday evening, 13 September 2026.

Police identified the victims as a 33-year-old bouncer and a 29-year-old waitress, both working at Wild Ladies Night Club and residing in Urdaneta City. The suspect is a legal-age single man and resident of the city.

According to the police report, the incident stemmed from a discussion involving the termination of the suspect's girlfriend from her employment. The discussion reportedly escalated into a verbal altercation between the parties.

During the argument at around 6:57 p.m., the suspect allegedly pulled out an unidentified small firearm and pointed it at the two victims.

A physical struggle over the firearm then ensued, during which one of the victims managed to disarm the suspect and take possession of the weapon.

The suspect subsequently fled the scene, prompting the victim to report the incident to the Urdaneta City Police Station at around 9:55 p.m. The confiscated firearm was also turned over to responding police personnel.

Police immediately launched a hot pursuit operation, which resulted in the suspect's arrest shortly after the report was received.

The suspect remains in police custody at the Urdaneta City Police Station pending proper disposition and the filing of appropriate charges for grave threats in relation to Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

The firearm is being secured as evidence while authorities continue processing the case.
