  • More than P1 million worth of suspected shabu along with a loaded firearm were confiscated from four high-value individuals during an entrapment operation at Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City early Wednesday morning.

Police identified the suspects as alias Tol, 37; alias Michelle, 35; alias Jamiel, 20; and alias Junel, 28.

At around 1:10 a.m., operatives of the Southern Police District's Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with Taguig City Police Station's Sub-Station 9 and the Taguig City Police Station Tactical Motorcycle Riding Unit, conducted a joint buy-bust operation along Roldan Street, Purok 2, Barangay New Lower Bicutan. An undercover officer completed a drug transaction with alias Tol, leading to the swift apprehension of all four suspects present at the scene.

Confiscated from the suspects were six heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 200 grams, with a standard drug price of P1,360,000.

Also recovered from alias Tol was a Glock 17 Gen 5 9mm pistol loaded with seven live ammunitions, a magazine, buy-bust money, a cellular phone, and a sling wallet.

Criminal complaints for violation of Section 5 (Sale), Section 11 (Possession), and Section 26 (Conspiracy) under Article II of Republic Act 9165, as well as Violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), are being prepared for filing against the suspects.
