University of Santo Tomas (UST) guns for a second straight win as it plays University of Perpetual Help System Dalta Wednesday in the V-League College Challenge at the Gameville Central Park in Mandaluyong City.

The Golden Tigresses and the Lady Altas meet at 12 noon in the second of another quadruple-header, a make-up of a postponed 30 August matchday due to bad weather.

With a 2-1 record, UST seeks to keep within distance of defending champion Adamson University and Arellano University, which hold similar 4-0 slates.

University of the East (UE) tries to halt a two-match skid as it tangles with San Beda at 10 a.m.

The Lady Warriors are currently tied with the Lady Altas and the Lady Red Spikers at 1-2. UE has not won since defeating College of Saint Benilde on opening day.

In the men’s division, reigning University Athletic Association of the Philippines titlist National University (NU) shoots for solo second against Mapua at 3 p.m., while La Salle takes on winless UST at 5 p.m.

The Bulldogs have a 2-1 record. NU’s lone defeat came at the hands of Letran last 22 August.
