  • CLARK — Gilbert Muge and Edna Magtubo ran away with the crown in the PUMA Clark City Half Marathon 2026, leading a strong field of runners last Sunday at the Filinvest Mimosa at the Clark Freeport Zone.

    Muge topped the men’s 21K race after clocking in at one hour, nine minutes, and 23 seconds, pulling away from Edwin Kiptoo (1:11:55) and James Kevin Cruz (1:12:02).

    Magtubo, meanwhile, was the fastest among the women, timing in at 1:21:00, with Pamela Chepkoech Bundotich (1:24:13) and Arlyn Joyce Akangan (1:28:08) making the podium.

    It’s another banner race which was the fourth of the PUMA Philippine Half Series that has PUMA as title sponsor, Nature’s Spring and Clark Water as hydration partners, Pocari Sweat as official electrolyte partner, and was in partnership with the Department of Tourism-Region 3.

    Alfrence Braza paced the men’s 10K in 33:24, followed by Junel Gobotia (34:04) and Bong Sentillas (34:12), while Jessa Mae Roda won the women’s side in 46:48, ahead of Pauline Abril-Tabirara (51:43) and Leira Monton (54:36).

    Fritz Angelo Operio took the pole position in the men’s 5K in 15:29, with Cris Jay Pasion (15:40) and Noli Torre (15:55) completing the top three, as Kaye Kayralyn Villanueva led the women’s race in 19:39, followed by Mary Joy Stevens (23:44) and Geraldine Lucero (24:50).
