  • The MDRRMO Mariveles has issued a Flood Alert at the main thoroughfare Roman Highway, preventing most vehicles from entering and exiting the town of Mariveles, Bataan on 19 August 2026.

    The Flooding Alert identify the portion of Roman Highway at Barangay Cabcaben and Barangay Townsite as the areas with severe flooding.

    "Pinapayuhan ang lahat ng motorista, lalo na ang mga gumagamit ng maliliit na sasakyan, na mag-ingat at, kung kinakailangan, iwasang dumaan sa mga bahaging may mataas na tubig upang maiwasan ang anumang insidente o pagkasira ng sasakyan," the MDRRMO Mariveles stated.

    The MDRRMO Mariveles urged the public to always stay alert, follow the advisories of proper authorities, and continue to monitor official updates on the current situation.

    Meanwhile, rescue operations are being conducted by the MDRRMO Mariveles along sigh the PNP Maritime Group at Barangay Townsite.

    The said operation aims to ensure the safety of the residents in the said area.

    "Patuloy namang isinasagawa ng mga rescuers ang monitoring at search and rescue efforts, habang hinihikayat ang publiko na manatiling alerto, makinig sa mga opisyal na abiso, at makipagtulungan sa mga awtoridad para sa kanilang kaligtasan," the MDRRMO Mariveles stated.
