The Southern Police District (SPD) arrested five drug personalities and seized a total of 26.1 grams of suspected shabu worth P184,280 in separate buy-bust operations in Parañaque, Muntinlupa, and Taguig Sunday morning, 16 August.
The first operation was conducted at around 1:50 a.m. in Barangay San Isidro, Parañaque City, where operatives of the station drug enforcement unit arrested alias Joshua, 21, a newly identified street-level individual.
Police seized approximately 6 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P40,800, along with marked buy-bust money and a coin purse.
At around 2:15 a.m, station drug enforcement unit operatives in Muntinlupa City conducted another buy-bust operation along Sacrista Street, Barangay Poblacion, resulting in the arrest of three street-level individuals identified as alias Fruktus 30; alias Buknoy, 32; and alias Patis, 42.
The operation yielded approximately 12.1 grams of suspected shabu valued at P82,280, as well as marked buy-bust money.
The anti-drug operations continued in Taguig City at around 4:10 a.m., where station drug enforcement unit operatives arrested alias Dave, 27, at Ambal Street, Barangay Western Bicutan.
Approximately 9 grams of suspected shabu worth P61,200 was seized from the suspect, together with marked buy-bust money and a coin purse.
The five suspects were brought to the respective station drug enforcement unit offices for investigation, documentation, and preparation of the appropriate criminal complaints.
The cases against the arrested suspects will be filed before the respective city prosecutor’s pffices for appropriate disposition for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
