BALANGA CITY, Bataan — Police arrested five suspected drug personalities, including one high-value individual and two street-level individuals, and seized more than P550,000 worth of illegal drugs during a series of anti-narcotics operations across Bataan on 29 July.
The largest haul came from a buy-bust operation in Dinalupihan, where joint operatives from the town's Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit and the Floridablanca police arrested a high-value individual and confiscated 72.18 grams of shabu valued at P490,824.
Separate operations were also conducted in other municipalities.
In Hermosa, authorities arrested a street-level individual and seized 39 grams of marijuana worth P4,680.
In Samal, police confiscated 4.40 grams of shabu valued at P29,920 and arrested one suspect.
Meanwhile, in Orani, authorities arrested two suspects, including a street-level individual, and recovered 3.70 grams of shabu worth P25,160.
The combined value of the illegal drugs seized reached P550,584.
Bataan Police Provincial Director Col. Marites A. Salvadora said the successful operations reflect the police force's continuing campaign to dismantle drug networks and keep communities safe.
She added that the operations were conducted with the support of the Police Regional Office 3 and in line with the Philippine National Police's anti-illegal drug campaign.
