AMD has launched its next-generation infrastructure portfolio, headlined by AMD Helios, the company’s first rack-scale AI solution designed for large-scale AI training and inference.
Introduced during Advancing AI 2026, the new lineup also includes 6th Gen AMD EPYC processors, AMD Instinct MI400 Series GPUs, Ryzen AI Embedded X100 processors, and new AI solutions for robotics and edge computing.
AMD said Helios delivers up to 30 percent more inference tokens per dollar than competing platforms, combining 72 AMD Instinct MI455X GPUs and 18 sixth-generation EPYC CPUs in a single rack-scale system.
The company added that major AI firms including OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Microsoft and Oracle are adopting or testing Helios for next-generation AI workloads.
AMD said its expanded portfolio is designed to support AI deployments from hyperscale data centers to enterprise, edge and embedded systems as demand for agentic AI continues to grow.
