  • BYD Cars Philippines has opened reservations for the all-new Atto 2 and the updated Seal 5 ahead of their official launch on 28 July.

The two models give Filipino buyers more options as BYD expands its electrified vehicle range. Customers may reserve either vehicle at BYD dealerships nationwide before prices and launch offers are announced at the TriNoma Activity Center in Quezon City.

First shown locally at the Manila International Auto Show in April, the Atto 2 will arrive in three variants. Buyers may choose from the Atto 2 EV Premium, Atto 2 DM-i Premium and Atto 2 DM-i Dynamic.

The choices allow customers to pick between a full electric model and versions powered by BYD’s plug-in hybrid system.

The compact crossover is aimed at motorists who want a practical entry into electrified driving without moving into a larger or more expensive vehicle.

BYD will also introduce the refreshed Seal 5 DM-i, which receives updated styling and additional features. It will be sold in Dynamic and Essential variants.

The Seal 5 continues to use BYD’s DM-i technology, which combines electric driving with the longer-distance convenience of a gasoline engine.

This makes the sedan suitable for first-time car buyers, households and fleet operators who need lower fuel use without relying entirely on charging.

Reservations may also be submitted through BYD Cars Philippines’ online registration page. Full specifications, prices and introductory offers will be disclosed during the 28 July launch.
