Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) arrested 60 wanted persons during intelligence-driven manhunt operations conducted across the Ilocos Region from 8 to 14 July.
According to PRO1, those arrested included 12 Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) and 48 Other Wanted Persons (OWPs).
Among the MWPs were three listed at the regional level, two at the provincial level, three at the city level, and four at the municipal level.
Police said the operations were carried out as part of ongoing efforts to locate individuals facing criminal charges and serve outstanding warrants issued by the courts.
PRO1 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Jovencio S. Badua Jr. said the arrests resulted from sustained intelligence gathering and coordination among operating units. He added that the regional police office would continue its manhunt operations to apprehend fugitives and ensure they are brought before the courts.
Authorities did not immediately release the identities of the arrested individuals or the specific charges they are facing.
