Subic Bay Freeport - The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Zambales kicked off the Micro Small Medium Enterprise (MSME) Week Trade Fair at the Harbor Point Ayala Mall in Subic Bay Freeport on 8 July 2026.
According to DTI Zambales Provincial Director Enrique Tacbad, the theme for this celebration is "Navigating the Shift: Building Resilient and Future-ready MSMEs" that aims to promote MSMEs in the province of Zambales.
Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chief of Staff Atty. Von Rodriguez, as well as tourism officials from various localities in Zambales and the SBMA were on hand to witness the kickoff ceremony.
The said event included the Awarding of Certificate of Recognition to the Kapatid Mentor Me (KMME) Batch 1 2026 Mentees, Awarding of Certificate of Appreciation to guests, as well as the trade fair itself.
MSMEs form the backbone of the local economy in Zambales.
Supported actively by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Zambales Provincial Office and local government units, thousands of registered local entrepreneurs drive innovation and employment in sectors like food processing, agriculture, arts, and crafts.
