The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) will offer Postal ID applications and other postal services during the Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) Service Caravan at SM CDO Downtown Mall on 29 and 30 June.
The two-day event, organized in partnership with the Department of Finance, is open to the public free of charge and does not require prior registration.
Visitors may apply for a Postal ID, purchase philatelic stamps and personalized "Selfie Stamps," send mail and parcels, and avail themselves of the Express Mail Service (EMS) for domestic and international deliveries.
"The Service Caravan is an excellent opportunity for the public to conveniently access PHLPost services in one location. We encourage everyone to visit our booth, apply for their Postal ID, and discover the various postal services that can help make their transactions easier and more accessible," said Cecil Cotapte, PHLPost Area 8 marketing specialist.
PHLPost said the Postal ID application fee is P550, inclusive of taxes and delivery for regular issuance.
Applicants must submit a duly accomplished application form, proof of identity and proof of address.
The agency said the service caravan aims to bring essential government services closer to the public by making transactions faster, easier and more accessible.
