Engkanto unveils Bridgetowne craft beer hub

Local craft beer maker Engkanto Brewery has expanded its footprint in Metro Manila with the opening of Engkanto Taps Bridgetowne, a new taproom in Quezon City aimed at growing the country's craft beer community.
Located beside Opus Mall in Bridgetowne, the new branch marks Engkanto Taps' first location serving customers in Quezon City and nearby Pasig City. The opening comes shortly after the company's Mabrewhay Craft Beer Festival 2026, which brought together craft beer enthusiasts and industry players.
The taproom features 10 craft beers on tap, including Engkanto's award-winning brews such as High Hive Honey Ale, which was named World's Best Beer in its category at the World Beer Awards 2024, and Paint Me Purple Ube Lager, a gold medal winner at the inaugural Philippine Beer Cup.
Customers can also choose from the brewery's core lineup, including Live It Up Lager and Mango Nation Hazy IPA, as well as limited-release brews and collaborative offerings featuring locally sourced ingredients.
"Our excitement is on another level with Taps finally opening in Quezon City, one of the biggest cities in the country," said Ricard Basora, managing director of Engkanto.
"We had the pleasure of putting together the biggest craft beer festival in the country and by launching Taps Bridgetowne, we're continuing to grow the local craft community," he added.
Apart from craft beers, the new venue offers beer-infused cocktails and food pairings designed to complement the brewery's products. Among its signature drinks are the Sampa-Loca Highball, made with Green Lava Double IPA, and Nutty & Nice-presso, a beer-inspired take on the classic espresso martini.
