Philips enters Philippine air conditioning market with new product lineup

Philips marked its official entry into the Philippine air conditioning market with the launch of its Air Series, Classic Series, Noble Series, and Elite Series during Philconstruct Expo 2026 at the SMX Convention Center Manila on Saturday, aiming to enrich the lives of Filipinos through advanced cooling solutions that prioritize comfort, convenience, and well-being.
Through an exclusive partnership with Mulson's Trading Corporation, its sole distributor, Philips is expanding its commitment to energy efficiency and smart living by bringing its latest range of residential and commercial air conditioning systems to Filipino households and businesses.
Mulson's Trading Corp. Chairman Vijay Mirpuri headlined the event and expressed optimism about the partnership, highlighting Philips’ reputation for intelligent engineering and innovative technology.
Mirpuri also recognized Philips as a trusted global brand known for delivering reliable and energy-efficient air conditioning solutions.
“We hope for continued confidence and commitment [with Philips],” Mirpuri said.
The new product lineup is designed for modern homes and business spaces, combining intelligent engineering, contemporary design, and dependable performance to create healthier, more comfortable, and connected indoor environments.
“The Philippines is not simply a new market for us. It is a market where we are committed to investing, growing, and succeeding together with our partners for the long term,” Philips CEO Wu Xiao Tu said.
The event showcased Philips’ newest air conditioning portfolio, including the Air Series, Classic Series, Noble Series, Elite Series, and Window-Type Air Conditioner Series.
“We look forward to growing together, expanding the market together, and creating success together,” Tu added.
The lineup features Turbo Cooling, high-efficiency Full DC Inverter systems, Cold Plasma technology, Smart Core Self-Clean Technology, WiFi Intelligent Control, Multi-Dimensional Noise Reduction, Auto Restart with Memory, and Golden Fin Protection, addressing a wide range of residential and commercial cooling needs.
The launch comes as demand for energy-efficient cooling solutions continues to rise in the Philippines due to the country’s warm climate and increasing electricity costs. Philips said its products are designed to support both energy savings and environmental sustainability.

Air series inverter
Designed for first-time air conditioner owners and value-conscious consumers, the Air Series offers reliable cooling performance while promoting energy efficiency. It is available in 1.0 HP, 1.5 HP, 2.0 HP, and 2.5 HP capacities and uses eco-friendly R32 refrigerant.
Classic series inverter (WiFi)
The Classic Series combines energy-efficient cooling with smart connectivity, allowing users to monitor and control their units remotely. It is available in 1.0 HP, 1.5 HP, 2.0 HP, and 2.5 HP capacities and features inverter technology, R32 refrigerant, and built-in WiFi functionality.
Noble series and elite series
Scheduled for release soon, the Noble and Elite Series are designed for consumers seeking practical and space-saving cooling solutions. Equipped with remote-control functionality and R32 refrigerant, these inverter models offer energy-efficient performance and dependable cooling comfort.
Philips air conditioners are now available through authorized dealers and air-conditioning specialists nationwide.
