Senator Christopher “Bong” Go distributed financial relief and essential goods to 500 tricycle operators and drivers in San Isidro, Davao Oriental to help ease the economic strain of high fuel prices.

The distribution event aimed to support local transport workers who have seen their daily incomes decline because of fluctuating petroleum costs.

“You are our modern-day heroes who tirelessly ensure that everyone reaches their destinations, whether it is school, work, or other important matters,” Go told the drivers.

“Your sacrifices cannot be overstated, especially during times when our countrymen need fast and reliable transportation,” he added.

Go, a native of the Davao region, acknowledged the specific financial challenges faced by the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association members.
