Former House Speaker Martin Romualdez was reportedly targeted in a ₱350 million blackmail attempt involving alleged videos linking him to a flood control controversy, sources said.
The suspect allegedly demanded payment to prevent the release of the video on a platform referred to as “PGMN,” prompting Romualdez to coordinate with authorities and reportedly call the bluff, according to sources.
The entrapment operation was said to have taken place at Valle Verde Country Club in Pasig City.
