The provincial government of Bulacan distributed educational assistance to approximately 1,900 students from public and private institutions during a general assembly Thursday at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium.

Under the “Tulong Pang-Edukasyon para sa Bulakenyo” program, students enrolled in state universities, colleges, and public senior high schools received P3,000 each. Students attending private institutions were granted P3,500.

The funds were credited directly to the beneficiaries’ Landbank ATM cards. The students accessed the aid through Landbank “Piso Accounts,” which the provincial government said are intended to provide youth with secure, accessible savings accounts for both academic and personal needs.

Beyond the financial aid, the assembly included orientation sessions on financial literacy, gender sensitivity, stress management and mental health awareness.

Governor Daniel Fernando told the assembly that education remains a primary focus of his administration, describing the grants as an investment in the province’s future.

“We will continue to create educational programs that lighten the financial burden and support our students’ journey toward fulfilling their dreams,” Fernando said.

The program is part of an ongoing effort by the provincial government to increase school retention rates and support students through the rising costs of higher education.
