Lassy Marquez caught off guard by suitor’s on-cam surprise

A guest appearance turned unexpectedly romantic for It’s Showtime junior host and comedian Lassy Marquez after his suitor made a surprise appearance during an interview on fellow comedian Chad Kinis’ YouTube channel on Thursday, 12 February.

Midway through the conversation, a man identified as Ken entered the set carrying a bouquet of flowers, drawing cheers from those present and leaving Marquez visibly flustered. The openly gay host appeared giddy as Ken confirmed that he had been courting him.

When asked about the status of their relationship, Ken admitted he was still waiting for a response.

“Actually, I don’t know. He’s not responded yet. Me, I’m a go. I’m 100 percent sure,” he said.

Marquez shared that their connection has already reached the stage of family introductions. He has met Ken’s parents, while Ken has met his father. However, the comedian stressed that he wants to move carefully.

He said he recently came from a rushed relationship and prefers to take his time before making any commitment.

Ken, for his part, said he is willing to wait for Marquez’s decision, ending the surprise visit on a note of patience rather than pressure.
