At least 10 small and medium enterprises from Tarlac showcased their local craftsmanship on the global stage this week, generating millions of pesos in orders during the Ambiente International Consumer Goods Fair 2026.
The trade fair, held from 6 to 10 February at Messe Frankfurt, marked the fifth time the province has participated in the world’s leading consumer goods event. The Tarlac delegation was led by Provincial Board Members Joy Lamorena, Pearl Pacada, Lukecorinth Pagarigan and Topey delos Reyes.
The provincial government said the participation is part of an ongoing strategy to boost the local economy and provide sustainable livelihoods for “Tarlakenyos” by connecting local manufacturers with international buyers.
Ambiente serves as a premier global platform for innovations in the dining, living, giving, and working sectors. This year’s fair highlighted style trends under the themes “Brave, Light and Solid.”
Tarlac’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) featured products ranging from high-end tableware and home decor to gift articles. The quality of the province’s offerings resulted in significant business interest, with local officials reporting millions of pesos in generated orders.
In addition to product showcases, the five-day event featured live cooking demonstrations, expert-led lectures on sustainability, and the presentation of the Ambiente Designer of the Year. It remains one of the largest platforms for Filipino businesses to secure partnerships with international manufacturers and retailers across the consumer goods spectrum.
