DCL features 13 matches

DAVAO CITY — A total of 13 exciting matches will be on the card when the Davao Combat League (DCL) mixed martial arts event unwraps on Saturday at the Sta, Lucia Mall in Buhangin district here.

Davao City’s Dave Villarias of Limitless Fitness will battle King Mangalili of Cagayan de Oro in the main event following the encounter between local bet John Labang of I Flex Gym and Nathan Rey Mandunahan also of Cagayan de Oro.

“We do promote local fighters based here in Davao in these featured bouts. We will also feature other martial arts disciplines in other matches,” DCL executive Mark Nimanand said, adding that other matches will feature jiu-jitsu, kickboxing and also MMA.

“The fighters will mostly come from Davao City’s Limitless Fitness and students of URCC legend Victor Torres from Cagayan de Oro,” added another DCL executive Miko Ponce de Leon, who stressed that officials of the bout will be coming from Manila.
