Police operatives from the Vintar Municipal Police Station (MPS) arrested the Top 7 Most Wanted Person at the regional level in an intelligence-driven operation conducted Thursday in Barangay 4, Sta. Maria, Vintar, Ilocos Norte.
The suspect was identified as Christopher Morales Belong, 46, married, a baker, and a resident of the said barangay. He was apprehended by virtue of a warrant of arrest.
Belong faces three counts of Qualified Rape of a Minor through Carnal Knowledge (non-bailable) and one count of Qualified Rape of a Minor through Sexual Assault, with a recommended bail of ₱200,000, under criminal cases filed before the Family Court.
According to police reports, the Vintar MPS conducted the arrest at around 5:00 p.m.
The suspect is currently in the custody of the Vintar Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to his presentation before the concerned court.
