Casino Plus awards P180M to 600 creators at Angpao Rain Gala

Online gaming platform Casino Plus staged a first-of-its-kind Angpao Rain Gala in Manila on 31 January 2026, awarding a record P180 million in cash prizes to 600 Filipino video content creators.

The event, described by organizers as a milestone in the local online casino space, recognized creators for Angpao-related content and campaign contributions during the promotional period. Casino Plus said the gala highlighted creativity, engagement and community-building among Filipino digital creators.

According to the company, winners were selected through a tiered system verified using Brandwatch analytics. Ten creators received P2 million each, 90 winners took home P1 million each, 200 creators received P200,000, and another 300 were awarded P100,000, bringing the total cash distribution to P180 million.

“The Angpao Rain Gala represents our commitment to recognizing participation of content creators in a meaningful and transparent way. Awarding ₱180 million in cash to 600 video content creators demonstrates that we deeply value and recognize their efforts in helping co-create immersive experiences, foster creativity and build stronger bonds within our community. We honor their impactful contributions that greatly deserve real rewards, giving them recognition and a cause for celebration and camaraderie among content creators,” a Casino Plus spokesperson said.

The gala brought together top creators and industry figures for an evening of performances and recognition. Social media personality Sachzna Laparan opened the ceremony, while hosts Boaz Mariano and award-winning actress Phoebe Walker led the program. Performances were delivered by FEMME Manila, Paul N Ballin and AlJames.

Casino Plus said the Angpao Rain Gala underscores its commitment to rewarding creativity and fair play, and signaled that similar initiatives are planned throughout 2026. The platform said future campaigns and creator contests will be announced through its official social media pages.
