Mang Inasal, the Philippines’ grill expert, earned triple recognition at the 61st Anvil Awards, securing three Silver Anvil Awards for its marketing initiatives that focused on digital engagement, partnerships, and influencer collaboration.

The brand won the Silver Anvil for Best Use of Social Media for its 4 Cheese Halo-Halo campaign, and two more Silver Anvils for Best Use of Partnerships and Best Use of Influencer Marketing for its MI UNIVerse campaign. The awards highlighted Mang Inasal’s efforts to connect with younger audiences through modern platforms while strengthening stakeholder engagement.

“Mang Inasal has always believed in the power of authentic storytelling and community engagement. These Anvil Awards affirm our marketing approach—innovative, relevant, and deeply connected to our customers’ experiences,” Mang Inasal President Mike V. Castro said.

“We will continue to explore creative ways to bring our brand closer to Filipinos nationwide.”

The award-winning campaigns underscored the brand’s ability to leverage social media, strategic partnerships, and influencers while staying aligned with its promise of delivering Ihaw-Sarap and Unli-Saya experiences to customers.

The Anvil Awards, presented annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines, are regarded as the country’s most prestigious recognition of excellence in public relations practice and are often referred to as the “Oscars” of the local PR industry.

Mang Inasal’s Digital and PR team, led by Mari P. Aldecoa, received the awards together with its PR agency, Grupo Agatep led by Norman Agatep, APR, during the ceremony. They were joined by PRSP trustees Engelbert Apostol and Steve Michael Moore Jr. at the awarding rites.
