The Supreme Court has extended the deadline for successful 2025 Bar examinees to complete their mandatory clearance requirements.

In an advisory, the Office of the Bar Confidant said the cutoff for the clearance process has been moved to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, 19 January 2026.

The extension allows examinees additional time to complete their requirements through the Bar Integrated System for Tracking Applications (BARISTA), where applicants’ profiles must be marked “Complied” to indicate full compliance.

Despite the extension for general clearance, the court maintained firm deadlines for logistical arrangements related to the oath-taking ceremonies.

Successful examinees must still meet the Thursday cutoff to request special access passes and complete the survey for shuttle bus services. These deadlines, which end on January 15, will not be extended, the advisory said.

The clearance process serves as the final administrative step to ensure that all candidates have satisfied the court’s requirements prior to admission to the practice of law.

Under court guidelines, any successful examinee who fails to meet the updated clearance deadline will be deemed ineligible to participate in the formal ceremonies.

The Supreme Court said the mandatory oath-taking and roll signing ceremonies are scheduled for 6 February 2026, at the Philippine Arena.
