Maymay Entrata opens up about long-distance love

For Maymay Entrata, love has taken on a quieter and more meaningful form — one shaped by patience, consistency, and unwavering support.

The actress recently spoke candidly about her relationship with her boyfriend, Joaquin Enriquez, who is currently based in the United States. Known for guarding her private life, Entrata offered rare insight into how love found her again at a time when she was content being on her own.

“Nakakapanibago naman po. Ako, siyempre dalawang taon din pero happy po ako na ako lang po,” she shared, referring to the period when she focused on herself. She said she was not actively looking for a relationship when something unexpected happened. “Pero siguro po no’ng bliness ako ni Lord ng someone na parang ako raw pero boy version.”

Entrata added that the description did not come from her alone. “Ayon po ’yung sabi rin ng friends and family ko,” she said, suggesting how naturally her partner fits into her life.

Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship, Entrata highlighted the effort and consistency her boyfriend shows. “Sobrang blessed po ako. Sobrang supportive niya po,” she said, before sharing the sacrifices he makes to be present.

“Every month siya pumupunta dito na after trabaho niya pupunta siya rito. Naka-base po kasi siya sa US.”
