Honor Philippines recently opened its 200th retail outlet in the country at SM City Manila, marking its continued expansion in the local smartphone and smart devices market.
The milestone store brings Honor’s total retail footprint to 200 locations nationwide, consisting of 100 experience stores and 100 kiosks.
According to Stephen Cheng, vice president of Honor Philippines, the expansion reflects the company’s growth since entering the Philippine market three years ago.
“I’m proud to say that we are now reaping what we have sown over the past three years. We are very young as a company, but our growth is like no other,” Cheng said during the opening ceremony.
The event was attended by several invited guests, including artists Shaira Diaz and EA Guzman, brand endorsers of Honor Philippines. The pair performed a song for shoppers and mallgoers during the program.
Also present were retail and mall partners, including Charlie Mateo and Danna Mateo of CM Hi-Tech and Megapixel, and Roy Seguerra of SM City Manila.
Honor Philippines has been expanding its retail presence amid continued competition in the local smartphone market, with the company positioning its stores as access points for its mobile devices and related products.
