Technical and service positions made up most of the job vacancies offered at the Year-End Job Fair in Las Piñas, where over 300 jobseekers registered, according to the City Government of Las Piñas.
A total of 25 employers joined the activity last Friday, and among the participating companies were AGlobal Care Inc., Anleon People Management Solution Inc., Cablelink & Holdings Corp., Columbian Motors Corporation, Daiso Japan, and Zensho Philippines.
Employers listed vacancies for waiter, barista, bartender, steward staff, cook, housekeeping staff, front desk officers, kitchen staff, and service crew.
Office positions were also offered such as accounting and office staff, cashiers, sales promoters, selling assistants, and encoders.
Several companies also had vacancies for skilled positions including electricians, air-conditioning technicians, multi-skilled technicians, linemen, carpenters, tinsmiths, auto-mechanics, warehouse men, production helpers, delivery helpers, and drivers.
The Las Piñas Public Information Office said 351 jobseekers registered and 64 were hired on the spot.
