A 16-year-old boy was wounded after being stabbed outside a computer shop in Tondo, Manila. The victim was identified as alias JR, an out-of-school youth.
The suspects were identified as alias Reiner and alias MJ, both 15 years old and now being sought by authorities.
According to the investigation conducted by the Manila Police District, around 8:45 p.m., the victim was playing inside a computer shop along Dagupan Extension, Barangay 164, Zone 14, Gagalangin, Tondo, when two boys arrived and allegedly challenged him to a fistfight.
When the victim refused, the two later stepped outside the computer shop.
However, when the victim stepped out, the two suspects were reportedly waiting for him. One allegedly grabbed him by the neck while alias Reiner drew a balisong (fan knife) and stabbed JR in the back.
After the victim collapsed and was bleeding, the suspects reportedly fled.
The victim was immediately taken to Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, where he is currently recovering.
