2GO has rolled out its first batch of electric trucks, a bold leap toward low-emission freight transport as the Sy-led company eyes lower fuel costs, and a leaner carbon footprint across its logistics network.

The company has already switched to electric forklifts in warehouses, kept its land fleet Euro 4 compliant, installed solar panels across key facilities, and adopted eco-friendly packaging.

Carbon-efficient

Its shipping operations remain one of the country’s most carbon-efficient transport modes.

The addition of e-trucks, the company said, raises the bar for sustainability while reinforcing operational efficiency.

“These new electric trucks represent more than just innovation; they are a reflection of 2GO’s long-standing commitment to sustainability,” said Faye Alonzo, 2GO Forwarding Business Unit head.

Guided by environmental responsibility

“Every step we take, from warehouse operations to the roads, is guided by our responsibility to the environment. With e-trucks, we can move goods more efficiently while significantly lowering our carbon footprint, proving that logistics and sustainability can go hand in hand,” Alonzo added.

The new units are built for high-volume freight and promise quieter, cleaner, and more energy-efficient operations, giving 2GO Forwarding a boost in both speed and cost discipline.
