Science and Technology Secretary Renato Solidum Jr. led the opening of the National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, where DOST highlighted its four development pillars: promoting human well-being, fostering wealth creation, reinforcing wealth protection, and institutionalizing sustainability.
The ceremony brought together local officials, scientists, innovators, and community responders as exhibits showcased geospatial tools, climate-resilience technologies, sustainable livelihood programs, and food security initiatives. This year’s theme underscores a unified message — that science and innovation must be felt by every Filipino, embodied in the call for “Agham na Ramdam.”
