Drug den dismantled, three arrested in Mabalacat drug ops

A drug den was dismantled, and three suspects were arrested following a buy-bust operation at 12:10 p.m. on 16 November, in Barangay San Joaquin, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.

The operation led to the confiscation of approximately P54,400 worth of shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Tarlac Provincial Office identified the arrested drug den operator as alias Pepe, male, 37 years old. The two other suspects were identified as:

1. Alias Mar, male, 49 years old

2. Alias Mimi, female, 52 years old

About eight grams of shabu, valued at P54,400, along with assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money, were recovered by anti-narcotics operatives. Confiscated illegal substances will be forwarded to the PDEA-3 laboratory for forensic examination.

The joint operation was conducted collaboratively by the PDEA Tarlac and Pampanga Provincial Offices, along with the local police.

Charges for violating Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against the arrested suspects.
