Sen. Imee Marcos marked her birthday celebration on Saturday, 15 November by joining residents of Barangay La Paz in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, for a ceremonial energization activity that brought electricity to 15 households.
Families and community members carrying bouquets, handmade signs and taking photos welcomed the senator as she led the symbolic switch-on of newly energized homes under the continuing “Pasilaw ni Manang Imee” initiative.
The program also included gift-giving and an interaction with beneficiary families who will now have access to stable power after years without electricity.
