First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos joined the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Asian Cultural Council Philippines (ACC).
Mrs. Marcos, who is part of the ACC, lauded the council’s milestones, particularly its efforts to give Filipino artists opportunities.
“For the past 12 years, I’ve had the honor of serving on the board of the Asian Cultural Council Philippines. Working alongside passionate partners, we’ve helped open doors for talented Filipino artists to study, train, and shine on the world stage,” she said.
Creativity gets wings
“As we celebrate the 25th founding anniversary of ACC, my heart is full of gratitude — to our artists, mentors, benefactors, and cultural champions who have believed in this mission and continue to nurture it,” she said.
The First Lady also expressed her gratitude to the ACC for helping uplift Filipino talent and culture.
“Thank you for giving Filipino creativity the wings to soar---and for showing the world the beauty, depth, and spirit of our culture,” she said.
“Let’s continue to support, uplift and inspire the next generation of Filipino artists,” she added.
The ACC is a grant-giving and grant-seeking global nonprofit organization founded and headquartered in New York City that fosters cultural exchanges between the United States and Asia and within Asia.
