CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- Bulacan police made significant arrests in two separate operations on Sunday, 2 November, netting a top most wanted person and two drug suspects, according to reports released by the Bulacan Police Provincial Office.
Police apprehended a 33-year-old CCTV installer known as "Alyas Droy," listed as the municipality's Top 1 Most Wanted Person in Angat. Droy was arrested in Brgy. Marungko on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 12, Malolos City, for a murder charge (Criminal Case No. 7017-M-2024). No bail was recommended. He is currently in the custody of the Angat MPS pending documentation and return of the arrest warrant to the court.
Meanwhile, separate buy-bust operations in Plaridel and San Rafael resulted in the arrest of two individuals for alleged drug offenses. In Plaridel, operatives arrested "Alyas Bambam," 34, of Brgy. Banga 1st, after he allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer. Police recovered an additional sachet of shabu from him, totaling 0.30 grams with an estimated value of Php 2,040.00.
In San Rafael, police arrested "Alyas Tacio," 51, of Brgy. Talacsan, after he allegedly sold five sachets of suspected shabu to an undercover officer. The seized drugs weighed approximately 0.9 grams, with an estimated value of Php 6,120.00.
The arrested suspects and confiscated evidence were taken to the Bulacan Forensic Unit for examination. Charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared.
