Former choreographer and Solid Gold Dancers founder Mel Feliciano took to Facebook to share an emotional farewell to his ex-wife, the late Anna Feliciano, who passed away on 24 October at age 65.
In his message, Mel expressed both gratitude and sorrow, reflecting on their years together and the lessons learned after their separation.
(“Goodbye ANNA, I want you to know and I told you that even after our separation, I learned a lot as a father. Thank you for taking care of Rupert.”)
“Tama man o mali ang paghhiwalay natin, PATAWAD. Mula unang araw hanggang last day, nandoon ako.
(“Whether our separation was right or wrong, FORGIVE me. All of this is part of God’s plan. From the first day to the last, I was there. I didn’t post anything — I wanted that to be YOUR MOMENT.”)
He also extended his thanks to those who paid tribute to Anna during her wake.
We’ll pray for your soul,” he added.
(“Thank you to the dancers who made the effort to perform at your wake. From my family and yours, I offer my deepest condolences. We’ll pray for your soul.”)
The heartfelt post resonated with colleagues and fans who remembered Anna as a pillar of Philippine dance and entertainment — a woman whose artistry and warmth inspired generations on and off stage.
