Two ‘most wanted’ nabbed in separate Nueva Ecija police ops

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Two individuals listed as “most wanted” were arrested in separate police operations in Nueva Ecija on Saturday, 25 October 2025.
According to reports from the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), a 34-year-old man was apprehended in Barangay Calipahan, Talavera, for alleged lascivious conduct in violation of Section 5(b) of R.A. 7610. The warrant was issued by RTC Branch 88 in Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija, with bail set at P100,000.
In Science City of Muñoz, a 70-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Bantug on a warrant for statutory rape, also issued by RTC Branch 88. No bail was recommended in this case.
Provincial Director PCol. Heryl Bruno credited coordinated police action and community cooperation for the successful arrests, affirming NEPPO’s commitment to holding accountable those evading the law.
PBGen. Rogelio Peñones, regional director of PRO3, commended the achievements and emphasized the need to intensify the campaign against wanted persons in Central Luzon, directing all units to prioritize their apprehension.
Both suspects are now in police custody.
