The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bataan Provincial Office raided a suspected drug den in Barangay Tenejero, Balanga City, Bataan, on 23 October 2025.
According to PDEA, the buy-bust operation led to the confiscation of approximately P68,000 worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as shabu.
PDEA Bataan identified the apprehended suspects as:
Alias Renier (suspected den operator), male, 45 years old;
Alias Dex, male, 47 years old;
Alias Yet, male, 34 years old; and
Alias Gara, female, 33 years old.
Authorities recovered around 10 grams of shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, one Android phone, and the marked buy-bust money during the operation.
The joint operation was conducted by the PDEA Bataan Provincial Office, the PDEA Seaport Interdiction Unit, and the Balanga City Police Station.
A non-bailable offense will be filed against Renier under Sections 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and 6 (maintenance of a den, dive, or resort) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. His three accomplices will face appropriate charges under the same law.
